Gratitude

   Well as you can see from the picture we have learned to set up the little red tent that belonged to Duane & Joanne . I still am not used to bloggin in this format so please excuse my mistakes . Although I do not apologize for spelling or lack of grammar skills I write I do not edit .I leave that dedious work to people like John or Jasmine ;-)

    Yes Gratitude I had a great graitude this past week for Duane and what he gave. Our youngest child our little adventure boy has never been camping ! I felt a tad of guilt because this is something all of our elder children have expereinced .

 We plan on using this little tent on our journey eastward this summer for the wedding of Brett & Natasha . So I thought the p[erfect trial could take place out at my mother's place where if by chance it is a flop we can retreat to the comfort of the bunkbeds ;-)

 I have been known to set up many a swing set backwards ( don't even ask the how did she do that question ) and knowing Duane he may have had some elaborate tent so I was a bit worried . However nope it set up just perfect .This is of course after adventure boy made sure there were no ant hills , spiders etc. in the proper location . How did I get a child who is afraid of insects ?

    I have to say it did of course cross my mind is this right to be using Duane & Joanne's tent ? This is how I think ;-) have to work it through .

 So what would they have liked us to have done with the etnt . As I lay in my sleeping bag adventure boy drifting off to sleep after we read our pioneer caping book . I began to think of the Duane I knew and his love of nature , the outdoors and of course camping . I thought of how he and Joanne are togethr now and how I think they would be pleased someone now is also sharing the joy they had shared in this same space this same tent . I don't think they would've just wanted it to be tossed aside . I think it is infact an honour to thier memory to recognize in fact the couple that they were and are together . Happy campers ;-)

 So yes I am gratful for memries of what Duane gave and those that he will continue to inspire because his little tent for all it may appear small and just a tent is actually helping to provide new and loving memories for others. This is actually a big gift and blessing to us threw Duane because a new tent for us as we tend to like the good quality brands would have run us into several hundred dollars . We make very good use of our tents and although having not camped in yrs we were certainly in need and this little red tent is a blessing for sure .

 lol I bet you didn't think someone could actually write so much just about a simple little tent ;-) I may not talk much but when uninterrupted look out this gal can babble .
